Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu (born 2 April 1981), popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, is a Nigerian businessman, socialite, entertainer and philanthropist.[1][2] He is the owner of the popular club in Asaba, called Xhrine.[3]
Early life[edit]
Pascal grew up in Aba and Umuhu Okabia in Imo State, Nigeria. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a musician.[4][5]
Arrest and release[edit]
Cubana was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on 16 April 2024 for alleged abuse of Naira notes. He was arraigned before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court in Lagos; however, he pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was consequently discharged after fulfilling a 10 million Naira bail and providing two sureties.[6]
