Cultural Ecosystem

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

A Cultural Ecosystem is a metaphor created to describe the organization and relational dynamics between material and non-material cultural elements and practices that assemble around one or more elements in common, such as a shared geographic or cyberspace region, or an artistic or idiosyncratic typology in common. The metaphor of the Cultural Ecosystem was first presented by the Peruvian architect Álvaro Pastor at the XIV FDigital Cities Forum in April 2013 in Quito [1][2], at the V Congress of Ibero-American Culture in November 2013 in Zaragoza [3], and at HASTAC Humanities, Arts, Sciences and Technology OAS Forum in April 2014 in Lima[4].
