Curran Lawrance Singh Ferns (born 6 July 1993) is a Malaysian-Australian mixed-heritage footballer who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for Brisbane City FC in the Australian National Premier Leagues. On October 30, 2015 Malaysia Super League club Johor Darul Ta'zim FC announced their intention to sign Ferns and four other mixed-hertiage footballers for the 2016 season.[1]
Ferns is a highly composed technical player with advanced passing skills,[2] but is also known for his competitive and defensive attributes on the field. He is equally comfortable playing central midfield or defense.
