Cybertease is a regular online strip club based in London, England but open to performers and audiences from any global or intergalactic location.[1] It is credited with being the "worlds first worker led online strip club."[2]

Cybertease is a workers cooperative so does not charge house fees like commercial venues[3] and shares all income equally between performers and other staff. The show also aims to break down prejudices and build a safer environment for workers extending to an inclusive programme that actively encourages a diverse community of performers and audiences in terms of gender, race, class and sexuality.[4]

The event was started in 2020 by members of the United Voices of the World Sex Workers Union as a direct response to increased dangers workers faced during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns and increased hostility towards autonomous sex workers fronm the corporate directors of social media eg Instagram [5] [6] At this time not only were strippers having to work in unsafe conditions many clubs closed. Subsequently, as a result of their uncontracted working situations, dancers were unable to apply for self employed income support and so were reliant on self organised ways of continuing to work.[7]

Since establishment Cybertease has been part of the movement for the Decriminalization of sex work supporting other workers to organise on social media for visibility and equity. [8]

In 2021 the group were in the press again after the actress and bodybuilder Megan Prescott known for her role in the TV series Skins performed at the 1st birthday anniversary show which featured over 30 performers dancing simultaneously at the online event.[9]
