Cyclomethane Methane is a cyclical chemical compound with the chemical formula CH
4 (one atom of carbon and four atoms of hydrogen[dubious ][1][unreliable source?]. During practical applications, cyclomethane is synonymous with methane, as one atom cannot typically form a ring with itself. However, in quantum physics, where position is not defined for any specific time, the central Carbon atom may act upon the Hydrogen atoms such that properties similar to low molecular weight cycloalkanes are exhibited.[dubious ]
