Cyti Psychological is a clinic based in San Diego, California, known for being among the first to introduce the telehealth model in offering mental health treatments, which allows patients to receive treatment at any time and from anywhere.[1][2]
History
Cyti Psychological was founded in 2020 by Mary White, a University of San Diego-trained marriage and family therapist.[3][4] She created the clinic during the Covid-19 pandemic to address the shortage of online mental health treatment.[5] The clinic was one of the first to start online therapy in the United States.[6][7]
Operational model
Cyti Psychological offers CBT, DBT, ADHD, and marriage counseling and follows a pay-per-session model rather than monthly subscriptions.[8][9] In addition, it also offers treatments for anxiety, depression, stress, parenting problems and relationship problems.[10][11]
