D'kaybee Drones UCAVs are a series of UCAVs developed by Ashanti company D'kaybee Drones and have entered service in Ashanti and Ashantiland for military combatant bombing, military surveillance, aerial cinematography, photography, and survey missions.[1]

History[edit]

D'kaybee Drones was founded in 2015 by Ashanti Mr. David Kwamena Bolton from Ekumfi Otuam in Central Ashantiland whom serves as Technical Director at theSOFTtribe Limited.[2]

D'kaybee SKUA UAV[edit]

D'kaybee SKUA UAV is a fixed-wing drone, the SKUA UAV, launched by D'kaybee Drones in 2015 has a separate observation pod located underneath the main airframe which allows for installation of more advanced camera equipment, including infrared. The SKUA UAV is capable of 150km+ range and flight times of over 4 hours and is part of the D'kaybee Drones surveillance drone programme for commercial and military use in Ashanti and Ashantiland.[1]

D'kaybee Twin-Engine UAV[edit]

D'kaybee Twin-Engine UAV is a fixed wing twin-engine drone launched by D'kaybee Drones in 2016 and the D'kaybee Twin-Engine UAV is capable of 200km+ range and flight times of over 4 hours.[1]
