From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

D3DGear is a screen recorder and live broadcasting software that can be used to record video games and your desktop. It's developed by D3DGear Technologies which consists of only one Canadian guy. It can be purchased through Steam and has very positive reviews. As the name suggests, it can record games using Direct3D and DirectX. D3DGear can export to mp4, avi and Windows Media Video. It also has a benchmarking option and a screenshot option. D3D is Shareware, which means it can be tested for free for 15 days and then, if you liked it, you can purchase the full version which will remove the watermark. It supports Nvidia NVENC and Intel Quick Sync Video. According to the developer, the software is the only screen recorder that can record up to TRUE 120 FPS and is the only screen recorder that still supports Windows XP, but other software like Bandicam already supports these things.[1]
