Sean Park (born September 20, 1986), better known by his stage name DJ Choz (pronounced Chose), is an American Disc Jockey, hip hop recording artist and record producer of Jamaican & Cuban descent from Miami, Florida.In early 2010, Choz began working as a DJ for Maybach Music Group artist Gunplay. Choz gained global recognition in 2010 after creating a mixtape series tilted "This Is Maybach Music" where he presented unreleased music from artist on Maybach Music Group.[1]
Early life[edit]
Born Sean Park, on September 20, 1986 in Miami, Florida, he grew up in Ives Estates, Florida a suburban area in northern Miami and attended Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School. Normally, Choz would stay with his grandmother in Miami Lakes, Florida where he also briefly attended American Senior High School, His mother was a nurse and now works as a high school teacher in Charlotte, North Carolina. His father is a Reggae record producer who has worked with acts such as Shabba Ranks& Barrington Levy. Choz developed a passion for creating music at the age of 12 and began recording his own music on a karaoke machine he received as a Christmas gift from his mother.[2]

2005-2013: Beginnings[edit]
Choz began to produce beats at the age of 16, and then made his first musical relationship with longtime friends, Frederick Williams, Vinson Lawson & John Fluellen named Main Gang. They released their first project on in 2005 titled "MG: Miami Heat Vol.1", where Choz recorded, mixed and mastered the project in its entirety. After personal differences, Main Gang broke up in late 2006.
Choz began working for Maybach Music Group after meeting Gunplay on Twitter, Choz sent a direct message to Gunplay inquiring about a DJ Collation he was the head of at the time, Choz would eventually join the collation named Don Logan DJs and would ultimately become Gunplay official DJ and began touring with him immediately.[3]
Choz moved to Hollywood, Los Angeles from Miami after inking a management deal with talent manager AuChoz, with help from his manager, who also discovered Travis Scott, started to mix and distribute mixtapes for various artist.Meek Mill offered Choz an opportunity to travel on tour with him for the Dreams & Nightmare tour,[4] where he served as the DJ for Gunplay [5]
After meeting rapper T.I. in the studio Choz began working closely with the record label Grand Hustle in the visual productions department as a film editor[6]
