DJ Dan Starboy
Daniel Niwandinda (Born December 31, 1999), better known by his stage name DJ Dan Starboy, is a Ugandan Reggae and Dancehall DJ.[1][2]
He has been deejaying and involved in the Ugandan music industry since 2018.
Early Life and Education
Daniel Niwandida was born to Ms. Ayebale Judith and Mr. Tumusiime Godfrey on December 31, 1999, in Entebbe Municipality, Wakiso district.
He went to Mother Care Primary school, Bishop’s Primary School, Muramba Primary School, Entebbe Parents Senior secondary school, Kitala College School and later graduated from Makerere University with a Degree in Journalism and Media Studies.
Music Career
DJ Dan Starboy’s career in the music industry as a DJ started in 2018 and continues to date.
DJ Dan Starboy is a primary source in reggae and dancehall music worldwide. He says it is the universal language. In a world that needs to find more common ground, there is no better way to provide it than through music, using the collective power of our passionate community of music lovers, the way DJ Starboy is doing.
Other Activities
Besides being a professional disc spinner, DJ Dan Starboy is also a radio/TV presenter and music producer.
He specialises in DJ Mixes, Mixtapes, Music Videos, Music and Video Production, Choreography. He also works with the Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) as a station producer and a Presenter on Magic 100 FM.
