DJ Mechanically Incline
DJ Mechanically Incline was born Michael L. Howard Jr. March 20, 1972 at Trinity hospital (formerly known as South Chicago Hospital) on the Southside of Chicago, Illinois. He attended several grammar schools on the south side then went on to Harlan Academy High. Being talented as a kid, he worked with his father (Michael L. Howard Sr.) & uncle (Anthony Howard) who showed him how to plaster & hang drywall, in which they learned from their father, Lee Howard. As time went on, he learned barbering from his mom’s grandfather (Edgar Sanders Sr.) then he later attended barber school in which he enhanced his skills as a Barber and cut hair till he found his passion, which was promoting. He stumbled across this by searching for new clients, while doing what everyone else was doing, passing out flyers. He decided to put his voice to work as a promoter for new clients and simply make CDs telling people to come to his barbershop with music playing in the background, which later turned into a DJ/Radio personality. Being from the deep eastside, a rapper by the name of Billy Da Kid liked the way Mechanically’s voice sounded so he booked him to host his Mixtape *Ill Make You Famous*. Once the release date came, that was it – he became a household name for hosting mixtapes in Chicago. In 2002 he founded a record company and named it "Union Syndicate", which was one of the first distribution outlets for Chicago artists to be heard. He promoted 80% of the city; later he ended up cutting a deal with a Chicago producer named Meesak to use the studio. Working around these people led to a cameo in the film *Just another day*, directed by Peter Spirer starring Wood Harris and Jamie Hector, Big Daddy Kane, Styles P, Ja Rule, Inny Clemons, Mo McRae, Neil Brown Jr., & Petey Pablo. This landed him in several film & Television projects plus an Adidas commercial with Derrick Rose & Joakim Noah. This impact caused a move to LA to pursue an acting career in which DJ Mechanically Incline resides to this day. After all this, his mother (Rachel Sylvia Howard) put him in school for broadcasting, but he refused to attend.
