DJ Profit
Douglas Ross Norman, better known as DJ Profit, is a DJ and Producer from Townsville, Australia, who is best known for his 2015 Fast & Furious 7 Soundtrack Mixtape which reached Number 1 in the Mixcloud Mashup Charts.[1] Prior to this, DJ Profit had already developed a large online following over a period of several years. During this time, he was only releasing free downloads of his remixes anonymously until he revealed his identity to his fans in March 2011. On January 26, 2013, DJ Profit was a featured support artist of the "Dubstep Planet 4" event that took place at the Moscow Arena.[2] DJ Profit also released a Promo Mix prior to the event titled "Dj Profit - Dubstep Planet 4 Promo Mix" which included all the artists that were attending the event. During the event, DJ Profit supported the following artists Borgore, Flux Pavilion, Skism and Xkore.[3] As of early August 2015, DJ Profit is aged 28, as shown by the info section of his Facebook page.[4] DJ Profit has a strong social media presence, having gained a large following on both his Facebook and his Twitter page.[5] He also features his music on his Soundcloud account[6] and his own Website [7] which has been active since January 2013. On the 12th of July 2015, DJ Profit's management team recently announced on his website that he is offering his DJ Services for free to any suitable fundraising or charity event.[4] DJ Profit also owns and operates Off Tap Entertainment which is an Artist and Event Management company in far North Queensland, Australia.[8]
