Dhurjoti Prasad Bakshi (Hindi: धुरजोती प्रसाद बख्शी); (17 May 1948 - 26 June 2018), popularly known as DP Bakshi, was an Indian communist politician and organiser. He was a Politburo Member of CPIML Liberation from 1979.[1][2]
Bakshi died on 26 July 2018 in Guwahati.[3][4][5] His funeral was held on 27 July at Keoratala Crematorium in Kolkata. Leaders like Biman Bose, Rabin Deb from the CPIM party, Naren Chatterjee from Forward Bloc, and Ujal Chowdhury from CPI attended the funeral.[6][7][8][9]
