DUBIMED (officially Dubimed Medical Supplies Trading) is a medical and aesthetic device distribution company based in the United Arab Emirates. The company was founded in 2016 and operates in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.[1][2] DUBIMED supplies equipment and related products to clinics, dermatology centers, and hospitals involved in aesthetic and dermatological treatments across the region.[3]
History
DUBIMED was established in 2016 in the United Arab Emirates by Safi Rajab as a medical supplies trading company. It began by distributing aesthetic and medical devices to clinics and healthcare providers in the UAE and later expanded its operations to other GCC countries.[1]
In 2020, DUBIMED opened a medical warehouse in Dubai. By 2023, the company had contracts with 12 international companies, including the Sofwave, Galderma, Teoxane, Revance, Classys, AnteAGE and SuneKOS.[4][5]
In December 2022, DUBIMED entered into an exclusive collaboration and distribution agreement with medical device company Sofwave Medical to expand the distribution of its aesthetic medical devices in the United Arab Emirates.[6] The agreement was part of Sofwave's expansion into the Gulf Cooperation Council.[1]
In 2023, DUBIMED reported that it had distributed the Sofwave skin-tightening device to 10 medical centers and clinics in the UAE. The company introduced the device at the Middle East International Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine Conference and Exhibition (MEIDAM) in Dubai.[1]
In 2024, DUBIMED distributed the Ellacor micro-coring system in the United Arab Emirates through a partnership with Cutera. The system was introduced at DermaKlinic, a dermatology clinic in Dubai.[7]
