Delhi University Times, also known as DU Times or DUT, is a student news website at Delhi University. It was established in July 2014 as an online student news portal for all students of the university, and it is planned for print distribution. The colleges covered by the newspaper include Lady Shri Ram College for Women, St. Stephen's College, Delhi, Sri Venkateswara College, Kirori Mal College, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Hindu College, University of Delhi, Indraprastha College, College of Vocational Studies,Aditi Mahavidyalaya and Miranda House. The recent activities include movements against the introduction of CBCS in University of Delhi along with political groups like All India Students Association and DUTA. [1][2] They have collectively started a petition against CBCS (choice based credit system) [3] The website is maintained by students without any external support. The website has over 10,000 followers on Facebook, and also has a presence on Twitter, Instagram and Google Plus.
The website aims to provide attention to things its editors believe are essentially important, but are neglected by campus media journals. Their motto is "know and let know".
