DailyOM is an American online publication and educational platform focused on topics such as art and writing, meditation, health, and spirituality. It was founded by writer Madisyn Taylor and multimedia artist Scott Blum in 2004.[2][3]

History

Before founding DailyOM, Blum had worked as a software developer for Capcom, Sega, Taito, and Starwave. He also produced the multimedia project Peter Gabriel: Eve.[4] He founded iMusic before it was sold to Apple.[5][6] On the other hand, Madisyn Taylor had worked in aromatherapy.[7]

Publications

In 2008, DailyOM published its first book, which was written by Madisyn Taylor.[8]

Taylor also wrote the book DailyOM: Learning to Live, which was published in 2011.[9] Taylor's writings from the book have also been featured on Oprah Winfrey's website.[10]

Albums

Taylor also produced and recorded the meditation album Meditation for the Highly Sensitive Person, which was released under the DailyOM label in 2015.[11] The album reached #1 on Billboard's New Age Albums chart.[12]

Content

DailyOM has courses on various topics[13] from authors such as Deepak Chopra, Sadie Nardini, Debbie Ford,[14] Dan Millman,[15][16] and Andrew Harvey.[17][18]

DailyOM also publishes articles on spiritual and mental health.[19]
