Dairyland Farm World is a visitor attraction and working farm situated in the parish of St. Newlyn East near Newquay, Cornwall, England.

History

Dairyland started life in 1975[1] as a private collection of farm machinery. The original farming business was started by Mr. Frederick Davey MBE in 1924, although farming has been done on the site since the 1300s. The business expanded and Frank Davey OBE successfully took over the farm. In September 1950 the company F. Davey and Sons was established. Today it is known as Dairyland Farm World.

The Farm Today

Diversification was needed to save the farm, and it quickly expanded to a full family attraction. The park itself has various attractions including The Bull Pen indoor play area, drop slides, mini tractors, a petting zoo, adventure playgrounds, animal feeding, cow milking, woodland lakes and nature trails. The park also houses The Cornish Heritage Centre.
