Dale Manzo is a candidate for Missouri Secretary of State in the 2020 Republican Party Primaries.[1]

Dale Manzo filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission for the 2020 election on November 19, 2018[1]

Early life[edit]

Dale Manzo grew up in Marshfield, Missouri, during which Manzo's father, Robb Holzrichter, was the pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.[2]

Manzo moved to Eureka, Missouri in 2008, he attended the Rockwood School District and graduated from Eureka High School in 2017. While attending Eureka High School, Manzo worked as a producer for the school's journalism program, the EHS-hub.[3] Manzo graduated from Eureka High School in three years rather than the standard four.

Manzo started at Manchester Electrical Contractors in 2017 as Chief Operating Officer.[4][5]

Political career[edit]

Dale Manzo filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission on November 19, 2018 for the Republican primary election that will be held on August 4, 2020.[6] The general election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

Dale Manzo is running against incumbent Republican Jay Ashcroft.[6]

Manzo's campaign manager is his stepfather, Stephen Ogletree, who is also the treasurer of the Manzo for Missouri Committee.[1]

During an interview with KTRS St. Louis in July 2018, Manzo expressed his support for Vice President Pence and President Trump, saying: “I support the administration because they support my rights. They support the Constitution and putting a Supreme Court justice on the court that will continue to support the Constitution and not change it as they go along,”[7][8]
