Dalma Daniela Llinás Conde (born September 13, 1991) is a Colombian rock singer, actress, songwriter, radio and TV personality, and digital entrepreneur.[1][2] She started as an acoustic rock singer in Barranquilla and later released several songs, including Rain of Love and Regálame un Like.[3]

Daniela is also known for conducting cultural shows in Colombia and created an Art Show called Entre Notas y Arte.[4] She has been featured in many Colombian TV shows and telenovelas including Telecaribe's Love Motel and Contacto Online. Daniela will appear in the 2023 independent film, The Sovereign.[5]

Early life and education[edit]

Daniela was born on 13 September, 1991, in Barranquilla, Colombia. She learned English by watching television shows and listening to music at the age of 12.[6] Daniela went to Universidad Autónoma del to study communication and media studies, but dropped out after second semester. In 2022, she got the educational equivalent of a bachelor's of science degree in marketing.[7]

Career[edit]

At the age of 15, Daniela began her career as an English teacher and translator. She joined TGI Fridays in 2013 as a senior events coordinator, where she was responsible for organizing reservations and events to promote restaurants with local businesses. In the same year, she was hired as a cultural coordinator and keynote speaker at the Museum of Modern Art of Barranquilla.

In 2017, Daniela was appointed as a social media coordinator at IT49 Multimedia and was in charge of the company's digital marketing department. Later in 2020, she joined IVisa as a content operations coordinator and was promoted to social media strategist and channel host in 2021.[8]

Daniela conducted cultural showcases in Colombia and created an Art Show called 'Entre Notas y Arte' alongside Barranquilla's Museum of Modern Art.[4] She has participated in several Colombian TV shows and telenovelas including Telecaribe's ‘Love Motel' and ‘Contacto Online'. She also released several songs including Rain of Love and Regálame un Like.[3] In addition, she has been featured in the independent film "The Sovereign," which will be released in early 2023.[5]

Daniela has studied and made courses around creative leadership, filmmaking, self-expression, and authenticity. As of 2023, Daniela is working as a social media strategist and YouTube Host for iVisa. She also runs a personal brand on Instagram and has over 35,000 followers.[8][9]

Recognition[edit]

Daniela was honored at the TedX Barranquilla Invisible Humans event in November 2016 for her project "Acustico Barranquilla," a music event focused on sensitizing and promoting bilingualism through various music genres, including acoustic rock, jazz, and reggae.[10][11] Later in 2022, LA Weekly recognized her as one of the "Top Female Entrepreneurs to Follow in 2022."[10]
