Damiano Fioravanti (born 23 June 1996) is an Italian racing driver. As of 2017, he drives for RP Motorsport in the World Series Formula V8 3.5.

Career[edit]

Karting[edit]

Born in Rome, Fiorovanti began karting in 2006.[1] His biggest karting achievement was the third place in the WSK Final Cup in 2012.[2]

Euroformula Open[edit]

Fioravanti made his open-wheel racing debut, competing in the championship class of the European F3 Open with Corbetta Competizioni in 2013. He switched to the main class since Monza round, and scored his first points at the season finale in Barcelona.[3]

He remained for 2014, but participated only in four rounds (two with Corbetta and two with BVM team).[4]

Fioravanti switched to RP Motorsport in 2015.[5] He scored his first and the only win in the series at Monza, finishing the season on the seventh place in the standings.[6]

He continued his collaboration with RP in 2016.[7] He failed to repeat race win, but improved to fifth in the championship.

World Series Formula V8 3.5[edit]

He will graduate to World Series Formula V8 3.5 in 2017 with RP Motorsport.[8]
