Damla Çoban (born December 27, 1996) is a Turkish women's football forward, who y plays for HakkarigücüSpor in the Turkish Women's First Football league. She was a member of the Turkey women's national U-19 team.[1]
Playing career[edit]
Club[edit]
Damla Çoban obtained her license on February 11, 2011 and entered Eskişehirspor in her hometown, where she plays since then.[1][2] After promotion of her club at the end of the 2011–12 season, she played in the 2012–13 season at the Turkish Women's First Football League. At the end of that season, her team was relegated to the Second League. At the end of the 2013–14 season, she enjoyed her team's promotion to the First League again.[3] She served as captain of her team.
On October 19, 2015, Çoban signed with the Istanbul-based club Ataşehir Belediyespor. She transferred then to Çamlıca Gençlik ve Spor in her hometown Eskişehir to play in the Women's Third League in the 2016–17 season.[1] After one season, she joined the recently-established Kocaeli Bayan FK in the second half of the 2017-18 Women's Third League. At the end of the season, she enjoyed her team's champion title and the promotion to the Women's Second League. The 2018-19 season ended for her team league runner_s up, and so the promotion to the Women's First Leafue.[1] In the 2019-20 Women's First League|, she transferred to the Istanbul-based club Kireçburnu Spor.[1] On 7 April 2021, she transferred to Hakkarigücü Spor . She did not play any game in the 2020-21 Turkcell Women's Football League season.[1]
International[edit]
She debuted in the Turkey U-19 at the friendly game against Greece on September 2, 2013.[1][2] She took part at the 2015 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship qualification - Elite round matches. She capped ten times for the national U-19 team.[1]
