Dammit! was 311's second independent release (following 1989's Downstairs, which is an EP), on their own record company, What Have You Records. It was released in 1990 and it is considered by some people[who?] to be the band's first album. This album is no longer in print and is very rare. Because of this, it has become a collectors item, and has also gained acceptance from some fans. Only 300 copies were made, and made available only on cassette.
