Dan Klass is an American actor, comedian and podcaster. He is the co-author of Podcast Solutions: The Complete Guide to Audio & Video Podcasting.[1] He hosts an audio podcast The Bitterest Pill [2][3] about living as a stay-at-home father/actor/writer/podcast producer under the flightpath at the Los Angeles International Airport.

Podcasts[edit]

Klass has been featured on the cover of Podcast User Magazine where The Bitterest Pill is described as: ". . . essentially a cathartic comedy audio blog which provides an outlet for Dan's creative yearnings." Dan is described as ". . . an East Coast guy living on the West Coast, and a man in a traditionally female role".[4] The success and notoriety of The Bitterest Pill contributed to the early emergence and popularity of podcasts.[5] and the show went on to win the Winter 2007 'Best Audioblog' from The Podcast Peer Awards.[6] A pilot for a video podcast version was produced but the series was never launched.[7] The Bitterest Pill reached its 10th anniversary in November 2014, and Klass has published over 300 episodes to date.[8]

Acting roles[edit]

As an actor, Dan has appeared on many popular television series: Party of Five, Chicago Hope, The Pretender, The X-Files and Touched by an Angel. He has also appeared in the films Love Liza (written by his childhood friend Gordy Hoffman) and in The Girl Next Door.[9]
