Dan Shulman
Daniel "Dan" Shulman (born February 9, 1967, in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian sportscaster currently with ESPN. He currently calls games for MLB on ESPN, MLB on ESPN Radio, College Basketball on ESPN, and NBA on ESPN.[1] He was the TV voice of the Toronto Raptors and Toronto Blue Jays. He also called NHL games for The Sports Network, a sister network of ESPN. He was a host of Prime Time Sports, calling games for the Western Mustangs football and basketball before coming to TSN or ESPN. He was also with CTV covering the 1994 Winter Olympics and the 1994 World Championships of Basketball.
When Shulman was working at a baseball game in 2011, he announced Osama bin Laden's death.[2]
The National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association named him the "National Sportscaster of the Year" in 2011.[3]
