Dan Thawley
Dan Thawley is an Australian-born journalist, creative director, and editor-in-chief of A Magazine Curated By.[1][2] He has contributed to publications such as AnOther, Architectural Digest, The Business of Fashion, New York Magazine's The Cut, Vogue, and Wallpaper.[3][4] He lives and works in Paris, France.
Work
Thawley started his career in fashion by performing in a band in Australia and later worked at Ralph Lauren and the boutique store Assin on Oxford Street, London.[5]
He joined A Magazine Curated By as an online editor in 2009 and became editor-in-chief in 2010.[6] Thawley has curated issues with notable designers such as Kim Jones, Giambattista Valli, and Alessandro Michele.
In 2016, Thawley authored Radical Renaissance, published by Assouline NYC.[7]
Thawley received an honorary Doctorate from Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland, in 2019.[8]
