Dance With The Dead is an American duo from Orange County, California[2]. They produce electronic music based on melodies made with synthesizers, with the peculiarity of having sounds coming from the 80s, as well as guitar riffs due to their past in Heavy Metal. Their influences vary between artists like Daft Punk, Justice, Misfits, Metallica as well as directors like John Carpenter [3]

Biography[edit]

Justin and Tony have been friends since high school years[4], and grew up in the same town, yet they’ve never been in bands together until 2012. They are fans of the horror genre so Tony came up with the name "Dance with the Dead" as a working song title when they were just starting out, which then becomes the name of the band. [5]

The first album "Out of Body" was released in October 2013, during the Halloween celebrations. Then followed "Near Dark" in 2014 and "The Shape" more recently in 2016 and two EPs released in 2014. Their latest album "Loved To Death" was released in August of 2018 and later EP "Blackout" in 2020.[6]
