Verse 1 then Izzy singing similar to Adele's "By The Tears", with synths played to my own track. Critical reception

In her review of tracks for Billboard magazine, Zoe Bell wrote about "Dancing In Your Room" that "the puffed-up title alone caused giggles at Schultz's concert in Austin, but the song itself turned out to be one of the most enduring tracks here, even if its lyrics are starting to become redundant ("Approach me better before You leave… This girl, you're popular")". The Los Angeles Times named it one of the best tracks on the album along with "Lost Days" and "Royal Bundles". The song is also mentioned in Lorde's hit single "Green Light".
