Daniel Bulls (born August 30, 1986 in Millersville, Maryland) is a former American soccer player, who currently works as Head coach of the Arundel Soccer Association.

Career[edit]

Youth[edit]

Daniel played club soccer with the Bethesda Internationals, which won five straight state titles between 1999 and 2003, and a national championship in 2001. Bulls spent the summer of 2003 training with the prestigious Santos F.C. of Brazil's U-17 Youth Academy before returning to the United States to finish High School.

College[edit]

Bulls attended Old Mill High School, where he earned NSCAA second-team All-State honors as a sophomore and a junior before missing much of his senior campaign with an ankle injury. He was a first-team Anne Arundel County selection in 2002 and 2003, was a member of the 2004 Maryland state finalist Patriot squad.[1]

Bulls went on to play four years of college soccer at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where he was the first recipient of the then newly named Mike Woodard Unsung Hero award as a junior in 2007 and 2008. He played both right back and defensive midfield for the Retrievers. Bulls was the teams captain his Junior and Senior seasons.[2]

Professional[edit]

Bulls began his professional career in 2009 when he signed with the Real Maryland Monarchs in the USL Second Division, and made his professional debut on April 25, 2009 in Maryland's 3–2 opening day victory over the Bermuda Hogges.[3] He then went on the sign with B Mobile Joe Public F.C. in 2010 who were the TT Pro League Champions, and CONCACAF Champions League qualifiers.[4]

Coaching[edit]

After his retirement worked as Assistant Coach of the WPSL League side Chesapeake Charge,[5] as Head coach of the Old Mill High School Boys Soccer Team[6] and ASA Ajax Premier BU18.[7] Besites of his coaching career is Bulls the Caribbean Site Director of the Pipeline International Soccer Academy.[8]
