Daniel Canan, also known as Dan Canan, was a mayor of the city of Muncie, Indiana.[1] He was born October 18, 1953 and was a graduate of Muncie Central High School. He was elected mayor in November 1995 and assumed office in early 1996; he left office in November 2007.
Before becoming mayor, Canan owned and operated Canan Pharmacy from 1980 until 1995. He and his wife Barbara have two children, Lindsey and Joshua.
