Daniel Doody
Daniel Doody is an Australian television presenter, best known for being a roving reporter for Network 10's national morning program Studio 10.[1]
He commenced his television career in 2014 with an internship at Network 10 which led to his appointment as a news coordinator for The Project and production assistant for Ten Eyewitness News.[citation needed]
From August 2017 to October 2020, Doody was based in Bega, New South Wales initially working as a radio journalist for Grant Broadcasters' stations 2EC and Power FM but then joining the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as a news reporter for local station ABC South East NSW.[1]
Doody, who himself is a NSW SES volunteer, was a member of the ABC's local team on the South Coast who covered the 2019-2020 bushfires.[2][3]
In late 2020, Doody was appointed as a roving reporter for Studio 10 to cover "positive feelgood stories" sourced from the community.[4][1] He has also served as the program's newsreader providing Ten News First updates.[5][6][7]
Doody appeared on Network 10's What The Hell Just Happened? in 2021.[8] He is also a singer and has performed in local adaptions of Ladies in Black and Mamma Mia![9][10][11]
Doody is of Sudanese and Samoan heritage.[12]
