Daniele Sasson (1945 – 25 May 2021) was an Italian photographer.

Biography[edit]

In 1985 he joined the Bolognese group PostMachina and in 1986 he was included in the Italian section of the "Iere Biennale Internationale pour la Photographie d'Art et de Recherche" in Paris, organisé par le GERMS, and participated in the International Copier Art Exhibition '86, Halifax, organized by the Technical University of Nova Scotia, National Postal Museum Ottawa, Canada.

In 1987 he promoted and organized an international Mail / Copy-art event in Siena for the European Year of the Environment with the participation of 97 authors from 16 countries. In 1988 his work Sindone Elettrografica is included in the “2Bienal Internacional Elecrografia y Copy Art” in Valencia, Spain.[1]

In the years 1988 and 1989 he collaborated, for the exhibition organization, with La Sala da Tè in Urbino. In 1991 he participated in the international exhibition of the artist's book, organized in Barletta (BA) curated by Ruggero Maggi.

In 1995 he participates with his work Electrographic Shroud in the collective exhibition curated by Carlo Branzaglia Italian Photocopies at the Ken Damy Museum in Brescia, presentation of the catalog with contributions by Renato Barilli, Giovanni Baule, Bruno Munari.

In 2014 he was selected for the II Triennial Exhibition of Visual Arts in Rome for the artistic direction of Daniele Radini Tedeschi and with the presentation of Achille Bonito Oliva.
