Danny Griffin (born 2 July 1997) is a British actor, known for portraying Sky in the Netflix series Fate: The Winx Saga.

Early life[edit]

Griffin was born in London and raised in Cornwall.[1] He started off with theatre, having done over 500 shows in The Railway Children, an immersive live production at London's King's Cross theatre.

Career[edit]

Griffin made his television debut in 2017, by playing Danny in Netflix's Free Rein and his film debut in 2018 by playing Maciej in Surviving Christmas with the Relatives. He followed it up by playing Hunter Phillips in CBBC's So Awkward, Aslan in The Gentlemen and Shane in Netflix's Get Even.[2]

In 2021, Griffin portrayed Sky in Netflix's live-action adaptation of Winx Club called Fate: The Winx Saga opposite Abigail Cowen.[3] About his character, he said “Sky has a tremendous arc. It’s about his journey, and that’s really exciting. He ends up being quite different by the end of the season, and that transformation was really interesting.”[4] He will be reprising his role of Sky in season two of the series.[5]
