Danushka Chathuranga (born October 31, 1984) is a a well known Sri Lankan Hairdresser.[1]
Biography[edit]
Danushka Chathuranga was born to a Sri Lankan Buddhist Family the father being Mr. S A Chandrasekara and the Mother Mrs. W A Kumarihami. He completed school life in Bibiladeniya Central College.
He is Married to Mrs. Mujitha Sanjeewani Silva and his beloved daughter is Vethara Senulya
Danushka Chathuranga is the founder and Chairman of Salon Liyo PVT Ltd (Founded 2009). [2]
Career[edit]
In 2014, he emerged as the winner at the National Hair And Beauty Awards contesting in the Ladies And Gents Hair Color categories competing with the leading hair dressers in the country. He has contributed his services at Miss World 2018, 2019 as the official Hair Dresser for the contestant from Sri Lanka. Furthermore he was the Official Hair care partner for the Sri Lankan Contestant in 2018 -2020 Mrs.Sri Lanka for Mrs.World. Ms. Caroline Jurie Crowning as Mrs. World in 2020 was a pinnacle of his fine works where he was Caroline’s Official Hair dressing partner. Salon Liyo is the 1st and only Wella Platinum Partner in Sri Lanka.
Dhanushka Chathuranga moved Salon Liyo from the his initial location to Nugegoda in 2015 to provide a better service for a larger customer base with 25 staff members. Now, over 50 number of staff members are working with him. [3]
