Darius Sunawala

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Darius Sunawala (born 05-Jan-1979)[1] has been one of Bangalore's most popular radio presenters. He used to host an evening radio show called Route 91 followed by a request show called Top 8@8. Although Sunawala became famous while working with Radio City 91 FM, he had previously worked with All India Radio and Indigo (when it was on the WorldSpace receiver). In 2000,[1] Sunawala abandoned a successful course of M.B.A. studies halfway through in order to pursue a radio career with All India Radio.[2]

His signature style was to make callers mispronounce his name on air. This led to him frequently being called 'Dowrieus'.

Sunawala left Radio City in March 2006 to travel across India.[3] As of 2007, Sunawala was working as programme director for Fever 104 FM radio station in Bangalore.[4]

Sunawala is also known as a theatre artist.[5][6]
