Darrick Robert Angelone (born January 22, 1977) is a music producer and a film producer. He is known for co-producing the film Meet the Blacks and the studio album Game by Kool Keith, H-BOMB (aka Jacky Jasper) & Marc Live.[1] [2] Darrick Angelone also appears as Benjamin Astor III, on the KHM album's skits and has a back and forth with Kool Keith on the songs, Rock is Dead and Space.

Life and career[edit]

Darrick Angelone grew up in South Florida, before moving to Los Angeles California in 1999. In 2000, Darrick Angelone met and collaborated with Kool Keith, Jacky Jasper & Tricky as the Executive Producer and co-writer of their yet to be titled album, Game. Darrick would go onto to collaborate musically in the studio and on the road with Kool Keith and crew until 2008.

In 2006, Darrick Angelone had already begun a foray into film. His first production was the music video for Jacky Jasper, titled: Mad Game, which featured footage of the late Roger Troutman. Darrick also directed a Jacky Jasper short film that was never released titled: King of Hollywood. [3] Darrick Angelone is also referenced to have acted as an agent for Jacky Jasper on other projects over the years.[4] [5][6] [7]

In 2009, Angelone produced videos for sunset Blvd staple, The Roxy nightclub. He co-created and starred in a TLC reality TV special titled: Paint misbehavin' in the same year.

In 2016, Angelone and AOne Entertainment created and managed the digital marketing strategy for the motion picture theatrical release of Hidden Empire Film Group’s, Meet the Blacks.[8] In its opening weekend the film grossed $4.1 million, finishing 8th at the box office; ultimately going on to make $9.1 million in theaters.[9]
