Darryl Kemp
Darryl Thomas Kemp (born 1936) is an American murderer who was sentenced to death in California on two separate occasions for two different murders. His first death sentence was imposed in 1960 for the 1957 murder of Marjorie Hipperson, this was later overturned and commuted to life in 1972 when the United States Supreme Court ruled capital punishment unconstitutional. In 1978, while on parole, he murdered 40-year-old Armida Wiltsey at the Lafayette Reservoir in Contra Costa County. He was not connected to the crime until 2002 when DNA connected him to the crime. At the time, he was serving a life sentence in Texas for multiple rapes. In 2009, Kemp was sentenced to death again for Wiltsey's murder, he currently remains on death row.[1][2][3][4]
