Kevin O'Neil (gangster)
Kevin O'Neil (born 1948), is a former South Boston bar owner who was an associate of the infamous Winter Hill Gang. He owned and operated of the Triple O's Lounge with his brothers, Billy and Jack, which served as the headquarters for the gang during the 1970s and 1980s. O'Neil was primarily responsible for laundering money through his bar for James "Whitey" Bulger and Stephen Flemmi ("The Rifleman"). According to Bulger's lieutenant, Kevin Weeks, O'Neil was a large man, standing at 6'4" and weighing 320 pounds. In 1999, O'Neil was indicted along with Weeks, plead guilty, and served eleven months in prison.[1]
