Darussalam Academy is a private high school located in the Hathian Branch of Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is part of the Darussalam School System.
History
The school was established when a small school in Shiekh Maltoon Town, Mardan was remade into the Darussalam Academy, in June 2009. The administration of Darussalam Academy planned to start a separate girls' section in April 2011, a preschool in April 2012 and a junior section in April 2013, with the existing building continuing to operate as the high school.[citation needed]
The name of the school is derived from Arabic (دار السلام, romanized: Darussalām, lit. 'abode of peace', 'home of peace', 'true deen', 'heaven', etc).
