Dasha Grady is an actress, singer and screenwriter.

Career

Dasha began her singing career in opera at a young age. In 2018 she debuted with her first concert mixing flamenco and jazz, and in 2024, she embarked on her gospel career and left the jazz world somewhat behind. In 2026, she made it public that she was returning to opera by teasing new collaborations.

Disney & musicals

In 2017, Dasha was approached by Walt Disney Company both physically in London and via Twitter by a California based Disney casting director to audition for the role of Princess Jasmine in the live-action ‘Aladdin’ directed by Guy Ritchie (2019)[1]

Dasha holds a bachelor's degree in acting and musical theatre.

Personal life

Dasha was diagnosed with OCD at a young age and is now outspoken about mental health in children, especially those raised in conservative religious homes. She was raised in a multicultural and interfaith community where she has acquired several languages.
