Dave's Marketplace, Inc. is a family-owned and operated regional supermarket chain in Rhode Island. Dave's Marketplace has established an outstanding reputation for quality products and superior customer service.[1] This distinguished quality and service dates back to 1969 when Dave Cesario opened a small roadside fruit and vegetable stand originally called Dave's Fruitland. Over the past 50 years Dave's has grown into the largest independent grocery chain in Rhode Island.[2]

Dave's Fruitland of Warwick was founded in 1969 by Dave A. Cesario as a produce market on West Shore Road, Warwick, RI. In 1978, the fruit store expanded to become a supermarket known as Dave's Fresh Marketplace. Ownership has been retained by David Cesario.[3]
