Dave Birss
Dave Birss is a Scottish non-fiction author who writes about creativity theories.[1][2] Briss has worked in creative leadership positions at advertising agencies, been the editor-at-large for The Drum magazine and written three books.
Career[edit]
In 2009, he was the digital creative head at OgilvyOne London.[3] Before that, he held creative leadership positions at Poke and McCann Worldgroup.[4][5]
In 2010, he became Editor at Large for The Drum magazine.[6] Birss has contributed to The Daily Telegraph,[7] The Drum[8] and the BBC.[9] In 2013 he founded the creative agency, Additive.[10]
Iconic Advantage, which he co-wrote with Soon Yu, won the 2019 Axiom Business Book Award in Advertising/Marketing/PR/Event Planning.[11] His book How To Get To Great Ideas won a silver medal in the 2020 Axiom Business Book Award in the Business Reference category.[12]
