From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

David Olatunji Abioye is a Nigerian Christian author and preacher. He is the executive Vice President of the Living Faith Church Worldwide.[1] He is a bishop and the senior pastor of the Abuja church (Goshen city) with over 25,000 worshippers.[2][3][4]

Personal life

David Abioye is married to Mary Abioye, and together, they have three children; David Jnr., Ruth and Daniel.[5]

Apart from focusing on the core messages of the church, which include Faith, Prosperity and Signs and Wonders, he is also gifted in motivating the saints of God towards spiritual stewardship, victorious Christian living and developing intimate relationship with God. All of these, you will find in the simple, practical and life applicable teachings presented on this site, which will undoubtedly produce notable proofs in your life.

David studied Mechanical Engineering in the university. He worked as a lecturer at Open Cast Polytechnic, Auchi from 1985 till 1986. At that point, he was already married and trying desperately to provide for himself and his wife. David Abioye dreamed of opening a modern tech workshop and tried very hard to make that dream come true.

Around the same time, maybe slightly earlier, he encountered David Oyedepo, a man you know today as the creator of the Living Faith Church Worldwide. The two met in the early 80’s in a Christian Students’ Fellowship, and something sparked between them. Abioye was fascinated by Oyedepo’s passion and love for God, and so their friendship blossomed. At first, the two had a very brotherly relationship, where Oyedepo took Abioye under his wings and became his mentor. Soon, the latter became a preacher, though being involved in ministries of gospel was not a very prestigious occupation then. Despite that, David Abioye persevered, all the while being under the watchful eye of David Oyedepo.
