David E. Katzenstein

David E. Katzenstein (born 1954) is an American fine art photographer specializing in documenting the rituals of diverse cultures.[1]

Katzenstein studied art and history at Connecticut College, New London, Connecticut, and for two years worked independently with the artist and professor Barkley L. Hendricks.[2] His photographic style is influenced by Cartier-Bresson[3] and Josef Koudelka.

His work has been exhibited in the Bronx Museum of the Arts[4], Lafayette College[5], Connecticut College[6] and The Forward Thinking Museum[7], among others.
