David Haines (composer)
David Charles Haines (born 4 February 1956) is an English composer and Songwriter. He was trained at Bristol University, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and at the Banff School of Fine Arts in Canada. Haines mostly works with community music groups, amateur theatrical societies, schools, colleges and pre-schools. Haines created Singtastic to allow access to his songs which also includes downloadable teaching material.[1] Three of his music theatre works have received professional productions and his concert songs have been broadcast on BBC Radio and performed at such venues as the Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall and Purcell Room.[2]
