David Peterson is an American businessman known for founding a large eCommerce platform[1] located in Florida, and also as a football player who was inducted into the University of New Haven Athletics Hall of Fame[2] and earned the Alumni Award of Excellence Award.[3] He is also a member of the University’s Board of Governors.

Mr. Peterson earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of New Haven in 1988.
The University awarded him an honorary Doctor of Business Administration in 2017.[4]
Career[edit]
Peterson founded 4 Media Central, an eCommerce platform and marketing agency located in Florida.[5] The company has locations in Florida, Los Angeles, Toronto and Spain. It builds and maintains highly sophisticated credit card platforms for online merchants.
Peterson also founded Powerboat Nation and Skater Powerboats.[6]
Actavism[edit]
Peterson is actively involved with Soldiers' Angels, an organization that provides aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and their families.[7] He is also a member in Indian Princess Seminole Nation, an organization dedicated to providing services that enrich the father and daughter relationships. He is also affiliated with Soles4Souls, which distributes shoes to people in need.
He joined the University of New Haven Board of Directors in 2010.

Mr. Peterson, his wife Karen, and daughters Mackenzie and Nicole reside in Coral Springs, Florida.
