David Purser (born 7 July 1987) is an English soccer player who last played for Real Maryland Monarchs in the USL Second Division.
Career[edit]
Currently owns Paint Protection of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC.
College[edit]
Purser moved from his native England to the United States in 2005 to play college soccer at Virginia Intermont College. He transferred from VIU to University of Texas at Brownsville in his junior season.[1] He is first player in VIU's history to become a professional athlete.[citation needed]
During his college years Purser also played two seasons for Vermont Voltage in the USL Premier Development League.[2]
Professional[edit]
Purser began his professional career in 2009 when he signed with the Real Maryland Monarchs in the USL Second Division, and made his professional debut on 25 April 2009 in Maryland's 3–2 opening day victory over the Bermuda Hogges.[3]
