David S. Womack (born May 15, 1987), known as David Womack, is an American Director, writer, film and television producer who was a founding member of Womack Family Holdings LLC.[1]

Career[edit]

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania , David was a member and creator of Alice Vision Films. The release of the 2021 feature film Carol’s Christmas, and an accompanying press tour & finished the 2020 year for him that concluded with the release of the company’s first TV Show, Vegas Social.[2]

Distributed through his own production company, David S Womack Productions, David released his first Feature film documentary Chase, in May 2012. Chase officially debuted on the Amazon Prime Video (the week of 5/12/12) There was no promotion behind the Documentary as it debuted because David was exhibiting this film on an independent level.

March 19, 2017 David released his first Director credited comedy feature entitled “Laughter is Medicine”. In 2018, Elayne Red, David's longtime publicist announced that he would be filming the upcoming Charles Dickens novel remake, Carol’s Christmas”. Throughout his career David has produced and directed shows in various parts of the United States and EU. Also a prominent writer David has several books including the Amazon’s Self help & Teen and Young Adult Short Stories chart topping The Longest Tune. Being a young African American author, David benefited from every resource to assist young authors. His book 2 Quick Secrets To Change Your Life was a Amazon Books chart topper.[3]

During the Covid-19 pandemic, David developed the video games Cyber Quest 2077 and Aquarium Life[4] all while filming his 2021 release Carol's Christmas.[5]

Early life[edit]

Womack was born on May 15, 1987 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the middle son of Alice Davis and George Womack II. Womack has 10 siblings - Richard, Shirley (aka Shay), Mary, George III, Eric, Molly, Jesse, Ashley, Troy, Elizabeth and Tiffany. His Older sister, Mary Womack is a Youtube and viral star credited with producing many viral projects. Growing up with a large family, David moved to Fayetteville, NC after his mother remarried in 2002. David was competitive when competing in stage plays and hosting local talent shows for his high school Cape Fear High School. While attending High School, David was voted a Senior Superlative. As a teenager, Womack earned a scholarship to LA Film School. In 2002, when Womack’ was 15 years-old. Despite a devastating loss, when their grandfather, who was a patriarch of the family, died of a heart attack, He graduated from LA Film in 2012.[6]

After graduating from LA Film in 2012, Womack went straight into the family business of entertainment production. But he soon realized that Stage acting was not for him, and he moved to Hollywood, eventually working as a Sales associate at T-Mobile. That's where he met his wife Jejorne Womack after she came in for a phone repair. Who birthed David's 2 sons, Jayce Womack and Drew Womack. Before long, Womack started his own Production company Alice Vision Films - creating and producing Feature films and long form entertainment. Eventually, he sold his first sets of productions and segued into self producing. He began his career in entertainment following his uncle Bobby Womack mentorship. After a chance meeting with a Hollywood producer, Elijah Polk, he began working many on pilots and reality shows, Including Vegas Social.
