Dayashankar Singh is an Indian politician and currently Vice President of Bhartiya Janta Party, Uttar Pradesh..[1] He has been appointed third time as vice president of Uttar Pradesh BJP on 22 August 2020.

Dayashankar Singh is a leader of Bhartiya Janta Party Organization who came from student politics. He became General Secretary and President of Lucknow University Student Union [2]

Political Background[edit]

During his college days in Lucknow University, he was a member of the ABVP, the student wing of the RSS[3] and elected to various post of Lucknow University Student union. He was executive member of Lucknow University from 2004 to 2007. Dayashankar Singh was state secretary & state vice president in BJYM Uttar Pradesh in Swatantra Dev Singh team. Currently he is in BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh team as Vice President of BJP Uttar Pradesh. In Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha national team of Dharmendra Pradhan Dayashankar Singh worked as national secretary & national vice president [4]. Dayashankar Singh has organized BJP youth convention in Mathura[5] Dayashankar Singh was expelled from BJP for his remark on BSP leader Mayawati but later he came back when her wife wins Sarojini Nagar assembly of UP[6] [7]

Currently Dayashankar Singh is In charge of panchayat election for Kanpur-Bundelkhand region [8]
