Dea Anugrah
Dea Anugrah (born in Pangkalpinang, June 27, 1991) is an Indonesian writer, poet, and journalist[1]. Dea worked for some time at Indonesia media companies Tirto and Asumsi.co. He is an alumni of the Faculty of Philosophy of Gadjah Mada University, one of the nation's leading universities.
Dea is an active writer of poetry books, short story collections, and novels. Alongside Sabda Armandio Alif, he is considered one of Indonesia's young contemporary writers[2][3].
Awards and Recognition[edit]
Dea's poetry collection, Misa Arwah, was longlisted for the 2016 Kusala Sastra Khatulistiwa award[4], one of the country's most well-known literary awards[5]. His short story collection Bakat Mengonggong was shortlisted for the 2017 Kusala Sastra Khatulistiwa award, . It was also included in Rolling Stone Indonesia's list of best Indonesian books.
Dea was one of the recipients of a residency from Indonesia's National Book Committee in 2017[6].
