Decisyon, Inc. is a SaaS company focused on accelerating the digital transformation of businesses in general, with particular focus on the manufacturing sector. The company develops software products and solutions to accommodate the speed of technological change in the industrial marketplace.
Decisyon’s products are used by over 60,000 users globally and in hundreds of plants, in multiple vertical sectors including CPG, Pharma, Industrial, Aviation, Electronics and Renewables.[1] [2] [3] The company attributes its success to in-house manufacturing subject matter experts, and deeply rooted working relationships with numerous industrial clients around the globe, which enable Decisyon to tailor solutions that eliminate waste and improve output from key operational and production processes. All of the company’s applications are developed using its own proprietary Low-Code/No-Code technology platform, Decisyon App Composer™.
History
Decisyon was founded in 2010 to focus on the Collaborative BI and Decision-Making market, a sector Gartner, Inc. forecasted to be the next big opportunity in enterprise software. In 2014, Decisyon created a large GTM team to enter the US market and became Gartner’s Cool Vendor of the year[4]
By 2017, Decisyon pivoted to an entirely new GTM and Product Strategy targeting the growing IIoT market and in 2018 began launching its SaaS manufacturing solutions and visual LCNC platform (Decisyon App Composer) for business users to accelerate Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. These applications provide an end-to-end capability from connectivity to AI-based models. Over the past several years, Decisyon established co-selling and marketing agreements with Microsoft[5], Schneider Electric[6], AWS[7], SAS and GE[8] [9]. The company has raised over $50M to develop its proprietary technology platform and is headquartered in San Francisco.
Products
Decisyon App Composer is a Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) visual development environment. It is designed for business users and citizen developers to rapidly build and modify insight-driven applications, and provides professional developers with the technology to accelerate deployment of industrial SaaS solutions. Decisyon has created Decisyon Digital Factory which is a suite of Industry 4.0-empowered products; according to their website, Decisyon Digital Factory is positioned as a "turnkey" solution for manufacturers: it provides all required functionality for the entire manufacturing value chain, connects all of a manufacturer’s equipment and devices, creates a digital twin, and provides advanced analytics to deliver insight about the entire operation[10]. Decisyon Digital Factory gives manufacturers the tools to easily optimize their factories, prevent downtime and predict maintenance based on AI-recommendations. Decisyon Smart Gateway, Prescriptive Maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, and Manufacturing Execution System are a few of these specialized manufacturing solutions.
